Oh, right, I was going to update this thing more often. My resolve is uncrackable.

My apartment has been without internet for the past two weeks. In that time I started a script outline, decided to sign up for a handful of classes at the Gowanus Print Lab, Brooklyn Kitchen, and Twig, and read approximately eight books.

The internet is back, though, and will soon be joined by cable, which means my life will soon be pretty much over. I only make the effort to catch up on a few shows online every week, but with —

Kay, cable's been installed. I'm currently watching Boy Meets World on MTV2 (what an odd channel to air Boy Meets World). Oh, incidentally, I recently bought Boy Meets World on DVD. I'm watching a TV show I could be watching on DVD on TV. So is the life of one with cable, I suppose.

Also, does anyone remember how awesome the original opening to Boy Meets World was? They must have cut it for syndication, but apparently MTV understands how necessary it is to bring it back.

It's officially December! I'm not going to bother with a New Year's resolution, because I have no resolve. Instead I'm going to spend the month at craft fairs.

The BUST Magazine Craftacular and Food Fair
Handmade Holiday Craft Fair

Anyone know of any others?

Holidaze (See What I Did There?)

It's almost December, which means Christmas specials! Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch, Charlie Brown, and all their existential crises... I just love them so much! I don't have cable anymore so I'll have to watch them online... unless anyone knows of any bars in Brooklyn airing them? Buzzing and bonding with my fellow man over a whiny little kid with an oversized cranium? Yes please.

Or maybe someone with cable wants to invite me over to their house to get drunk (this all really hinges on spiked hot apple cider, I won't lie), eat some gingerbread folk, watch all this shit, and make fun of the commercials? You know that sounds awesome...

Are You Feeling Inspired Yet?

I'm not super motivated to start updating this blog again, but if I'm going to live out my dream of not actually having to do real work and surviving solely on book advances, profits, and the high that comes with pipe dreams, I should get back into the habit of writing more than 140 characters at a time.

The lure of Twitter was just too strong, I guess, drawing me into the dangerous and exciting world of micro-blogging. But this isn't so bad. I'm already past 400 characters and I don't even feel faint! The urge to include a hashtag or two is oddly overwhelming though...
